DMCA Copyright Policy

Effective Date: 2026-05-31 Version: 1.0 Owner: Abrazo Software LLC Designated Agent contact: jeebe@abrazo.dev

1. Overview

DanceSanctum, operated by Abrazo Software LLC ("Abrazo," "we," "us"), hosts video content uploaded by users. We respect intellectual property rights and respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the "DMCA", 17 U.S.C. § 512). This policy explains how to submit a takedown notice, how to submit a counter-notification, and our repeat-infringer policy.

2. Designated Copyright Agent

Abrazo Software LLC has registered a Designated Agent with the U.S. Copyright Office to receive notifications of claimed infringement. Send DMCA notices to:

DMCA Designated Agent
Abrazo Software LLC
Attn: Julaam Diop (DMCA Agent)
5312 N Luna Ave, Unit 2
Chicago, IL 60630
United States
Email: jeebe@abrazo.dev

Our registration appears in the Copyright Office's public DMCA Designated Agent Directory at https://www.copyright.gov/dmca-directory/.

3. Filing a Notice of Alleged Infringement (Takedown)

If you believe content on DanceSanctum infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to act for, send a written notice to the Designated Agent above that includes all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or a representative list, if multiple).
  3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and to be removed, with information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it (for example, the video URL or identifier).
  4. Your contact information — name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Upon receiving a substantially compliant notice, we will expeditiously remove or disable access to the material and make a good-faith effort to notify the user who provided it.

Misrepresentations. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing (or was removed by mistake) may be liable for damages.

4. Counter-Notification

If your material was removed and you believe this was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to the Designated Agent including all of the following (17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3)):

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, mailing address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the U.S. Federal District Court for the district in which your address is located (or, if outside the U.S., any district in which we may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or their agent.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will promptly forward it to the complainant. We will restore or stop disabling access to the material no fewer than 10 and no more than 14 business days after receiving the counter-notification, unless the complainant first notifies us that they have filed a court action seeking to restrain the activity.

5. Repeat-Infringer Policy

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i), Abrazo will, in appropriate circumstances, disable, suspend, and/or terminate the accounts of users — and the organizations under which content is sold or uploaded — that are determined to be repeat infringers. We track copyright complaints per account and per organization. An account or organization that accumulates repeated, valid infringement notices may, at our discretion and in appropriate circumstances, be suspended or terminated, which may include suspension of pending payouts and revocation of access to purchased or hosted content.

6. Music in User Content

DanceSanctum hosts instructional, performance, and community dance content. Uploaders are solely responsible for ensuring they hold the rights to any music in content they upload, and they agree to indemnify Abrazo for claims arising from music they do not have the right to use. Content that uses music without authorization may be removed on notice and counts toward the repeat-infringer policy above.

7. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes are reflected by a new version number and effective date above.
